Kobi’s nameless clothing line continues its assault on the world with the recent drop of the Post Suicide Thought collection. The concept around the name is as stated: ” Post Suicide Thoughts is about a guy that at first is unsure about his life. he loses one of his close ones (family member or friend), he’s in trouble financially, and he starts to think about suicide.”
The collection captures various moments in human life where great pain is being felt, or is about to be felt. The suicide watch tee gives us a POV of the ledge looking upon what is sure to be death if the last step if taken.
The Amy Tee shows us the struggle of addiction and it ultimately winning as it did in the case of the late great Amy Whinehouse. The “Below The Law” shows us the places where pain has been inflicted by the law, while the B/W photo tee photo tee shows us the pain as it was being inflicted. Below the laws fist oppressed until a stand is taken.
So pain is a reoccurring theme in this line and although most people wouldn’t take the interpretation as far I did, I felt it was needed. Post Suicide where do you go? Hell? Sure that’s what they tell us think, but who really knows? Will the pain end? In this world yes, but what about in the next world? Is there even a next world?
Think about it and go buy the collection before it is gone.
