Allen Ying’s 43 Skateboard Mag
A vast majority of the photographers I know who skateboard often complain about the photos seen in magazines today. Countless cropped photos and bad shots are some of their main grievances. Enter Allen Ying the NYC photographer who has brought you shots like this

Allen has begun working on his own magazine focusing on quality photography and skating. He made a kickstarter to help fund it and if you are feeling what hes trying to do please try to chip in, anything people could give would be greatly appreciated. He has 26 more days to reach his goal.

It has been nice to see the progression Josiah and Usko have made expect things to grow even more in the future, all the parts are available.

This part that you are about to watch has footage from when I first got my camera to present day. As the days and months went by, Leo and I grew together, our skills both increased with time and practice. The original plan was to release a full video, but with college killing our free time several parts will be seen here online as they’re completed. Make sure you check the site for more in the future.
Leo is a crazy, always ready to skate kind of kid. He loves pizza way too much and seldom shows any signs of depression. Hyped off of life and on skating, and friends with just about anybody. What stands out to me the most about him is how much he loves the old nostalgic New York style, and how he tries to bring it into his skating. But enough of the talk, sit back and enjoy this footage and remember where you saw it first.
